We specialise in helping people gain the legal right to work and live in Australia, which is a very technically complex legal process. So we need lawyers who have both a strong understanding of the acts and regulations, and an insight into the personal issues involved. We find that the multicultural student body at UWS delivers graduates with these critical attributes. Many that we’ve recruited have either personal or family experience with the immigration process which is invaluable. But their legal muscle has been developed by a degree course that focuses on how the immigration laws apply to people rather than just theory. Our clients need lawyers who can understand and empathise with their situation. That’s why we have six UWS law graduates and one current student working for us.
